29 Asar, Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has today appointed Member of Parliament and Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba to the post of the Prime Minister. NC PP leader Deuba has been appointed the Prime Minister in accordance with the July 12 verdict of the Supreme Court, Constitutional Bench, according to a statement issued by the Office of the President. It may be noted that the apex court had issued a mandamus order to appoint Deuba as the Prime Minister within two days.
