काठमाडौं । ग्रेगोरियन पात्रोअनुसार आजदेखि इस्वी संवतको नयाँ वर्ष सन् २०१९ शुरु भएको छ ।

यशु ख्रीस्टको जन्म भएको वर्षदेखि पादरी ग्रेगोरियनले शुरु गरेकाले यसलाई ग्रेगोरियन पात्रो भन्ने गरिएको हो । यो पात्रो अनुसारको चाड पर्व मान्नेले आज एकापसमा शुभकामना आदान प्रदान गरी मनाउँछन् ।

ग्रेगोरियन पात्रोका आधारमा चलाइएको इस्वी सन् सौरमासका आधारित छ । जसअनुसार ३६५ दिन छ घण्टा ४९ मिनेट छ सेकेण्डको एक वर्ष हुन्छ ।

विश्वका अधिकांश मुलुकमा प्रचलनमा रहेको र प्रत्येक वर्ष जनवरी को पहिलो तारिखका दिनबाट सुरु हुने इस्वी संवत जनवरीको पहिलो तारिखबाट शुरु हुन्छ ।

विश्‍वभर नयाँ वर्षको स्वागतमा विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरु आयोजन गरियो । मानिसहरुले एकआपसमा शुभकामना आदानप्रदान गरेर नयाँ वर्ष मनाइरहेका छन् ।
