Kathmandu: Voting for the by-election of the member of House of Representatives in Kaski-2 is going on peacefully. According to Chief District Officer Ramesh Kumar KC, voting that kicked off simultaneously at all 82 polling centers since 7:00 am today is taking place peacefully.
An object that looked like a firecracker exploded near the Nawaprabhat Secondary School polling booth at Pokhara-9 and Saraswati Secondary School polling booth at Pokhara-11 this morning. This did not cause any disturbance to the voting and the voters were unperturbed, Chief District Officer KC said. Security arrangements have been beefed up in the area at present.
