Rolpa . A person suffering from bone marrow cancer is in dire need of help. Suresh Rokka Magar from Rolpa suffering from the fatal disease has urged the government for the safety of his life.
At a press meet today, Suresh’s mother Binni Rokamagar appealed to the government, saying, “My first son lost his life in armed insurgency and the young son Suresh has this miserable condition. To whom can I seek help from? I wish the government provided financial help for the treatment of my son.
” Within two and half months of the detection, some 2 million has been spent for the treatment of 18-year-old Suresh. He is from Paribartan rural municipality-1 of Rolpa district. The disease has rendered Suresh unable to produce blood. He has been receiving treatment at Nepal Cancer Hospital.
The doctors attending him have said it would cost Rs 7 million for his treatment. At the press meet, politburo member of Nepal Communist Party, Nawin Rokamagar, said Suresh must be treated on time. The government and the people concerned can provide assistance at this needy condition, he added.
It was also informed at the programme that nearly 800 thousand was raised so far for the treatment after launching an aid campaign. Even the foreign coordinators were fixed for raising the assistance from the Nepalis living in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Japan, South Korea, Portugal, Spain, Australia, USA, UK, Singapore and India.
