Mahottari. Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Girirajmani Pokharel, has said that promotion of technical education was necessary for prosperity. Minister Pokharel said so after monitoring the under-construction Agriculture Education Building of Sitapur Secondary School, Bhangaha at Bhangaha municipality-5 this morning.
The new building is being constructed at a cost of Rs 7 million from Parliamentary Development Fund at the recommendation of Minister Pokharel for running classes of agriculture subject.
On the occasion, he said that children of general people could not get employment-oriented quality education until reform in education of community schools. The education minister said that the government has moved ahead by making 10-year school reform programme. The classes of academic session, 2077, would be run from two-storey eight room building, said school principal, Shreeram Yadav.
