Kathmandu : Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed sorrow over the demise of party leader Khadananda Regmi. The leader, father of central chair of Nepal Women Association and lawmaker Uma Regmi, was 97.
Issuing a press statement here today, Deuba said that his death had caused an irreparable loss to the party and the Party had lost a senior personality. President Deuba, praying for the eternal peace of the departed soul, has extended his condolence to the bereaved family. Regmi, an active member of Nepali Congress, breathed his last at his personal residence at Bharatpur-18 in Chitwan today. He had actively contributed in various democratic movements in the country.
