Parsa : Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that disciplinary action would be taken against all those involved in betrayal in last election.
Addressing the gathering of party cadres organised by Nepali Congress, Parsa, at Birgunj, today President Deuba said action would be taken against those incurring loss to the party, as party would be weak if there was no discipline inside the party. “Nepali Congress is not family property of anyone. It is the party of Nepalis. Action will be taken against those involved in making the party weak,” he said.
Similarly, NC Joint General Secretary, Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, expressed the view that it was necessary to launch purification campaign inside the party.
He appealed to all NC leaders and cadres to involve in struggle for the protection of people’s right by informing the people about government’s weaknesses.
Likewise, different NC leaders including Ramesh Rijal, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya and Gagan Thapa blamed the government of sitting idle despite increasing rate of violence, murder, rape as well as price hike in the country.
