Cloudy condition with possibility of rainfall and snow

Kathmandu : The influence of the westerly wind spurred cloudy condition across the nation including 
Kathmandu Valley and there is possibility of rainfall and snow in some parts of the country.

Meteorologist at the Weather Forecasting Division, Samir Shrestha, said that the development of new system of the westerly wind has again affected the weather across the nation.
Although there was no possibility of heavy rain, most of the parts of the country will see light and moderate rainfall, added Shrestha.
However, there will be improvement in weather from Saturday evening. According to the Division, most of the places of western region will experience light rainfall and eastern part moderate and light rainfall respectively on Friday night and Saturday.
Similarly, there is also possibility of snowfall in high hilly and mountainous areas of the country. According to the Division, eastern and mid-hilly areas of the country will remain partially cloudy on Sunday while the remaining parts of the country will remain clear.
As per the latest detail of the Division, maximum and minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley was 19.6 degree Celsius and 9.6 degree Celsius on Friday. The temperature of Dhankuta dropped to minus today.
