Kathmandu, Dec 23 : Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that those wishing for groupism in the party have failed with the successful conclusion of party’s Mahasamiti meeting.
Addressing the conclusion ceremony of the Mahasamiti meeting here on Sunday, President Deuba said that all the five reports presented in the meeting were approved.
He said, “Let’s swell the party members in the village as per the inclusive representation as mentioned in the party statute. No one can defeat the NC”.
Claiming that the incumbent government was trying to impose dictatorship in the country, the NC president said, “Agitation will be launched if the government does not correct itself. All should stand together to end such dictatorship.”
He asked the leaders and cadres to maintain discipline in the party.
Similarly, NC senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel said that the Mahasamiti meeting concluded successfully and has given a message of enthusiasm and unity among the cadres across the nation.
