Murderers of Nirmala will be made public soon, DPM Pokharel says

Kathmandu, Dec. 8 : Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwar Pokharel has said that the police have already nabbed the murderers of Nirmala Panta of Kanchanpur district.

Inaugurating the 10th Human Rights Magna Meet in the capital city on Saturday, the Deputy Prime Minister said that murderers of Panta have been identified and police have taken them under their control. “We will make them public soon. But, there is a fear that if the attempts would be made to save the murderer in the guise of politics.”
Likewise, Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission Anup Raj Sharma said that the Commission would also back the human rights struggle since the Commission was not formed at the mercy of the government.
The magna meet to continue till December 14 is focused on the issues of human rights, peace and democracy. Around 250 organizations are the organizers of the magna meet while Fatima Foundation and Pourakhi Nepal have jointly facilitated the event.
