NC draws govt.’s attention over Ambassador Sherpa’s issue

Kathmandu, Dec 5 : The main opposition party, Nepali Congress, has said that its serious attention was drawn towards the questions raised about the activities of Nepali Ambassador to Australia, Lucky Sherpa.

Issuing a press release on Wednesday, Party Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma said that the government remaining silent and not probing the issue related to Ambassador Sherpa was unfortunate.
It was the responsibility of the government to find out the fact immediately regarding the questions raised over the Ambassador, reads the statement.
The NC drew the government’s attention to carry out necessary investigation into the case, to present the Ambassador at the Foreign Ministry immediately for investigation and to sack her if she was found guilty.
