Deuba bats for unity, reconciliation in NC

Kathmandu, Nov. 10 : Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that unity and reconciliation in the Nepali Congress (NC) was essential.

Releasing a mouth piece (Chintan) souvenir of the Democratic Thought Society on the occasion of 41st memorial day of NC founder leader Subarna Shamsher Rana in the capital Saturday, President Deuba mentioned that late Rana contributed lots in establishing democracy in the country. President Deuba added that the thoughts for reconciliation and unity by BP Koirala and Rana were the guiding principles of the NC and the party will materialize it into the action.

Similarly, NC senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel praised the role of Rana played for the party and the county. He also said that the NC has failed to realize the serious circumstance existing in the country that could even affect the constitution implementation process and federal democracy as well if it was underestimated.

Likewise, NC leader Arjun Narsing KC said that the leadership should manage the dispute in the party.
On the occasion, former Speaker Tara Nath Ranabhat stressed the need for following principles of the late Koirala and Rana.

Likewise, other NC leaders including Homnath Dahal, also former President of the Society, Kul Chandra Wagle, also senior Vice President and Gokarna Aryal, also General Secretary underscored the need for striking a unity among the leadership and changing its working style. The 6th edition of the souvenir features works of Rana.
