Sankhu, Nov 3 : The Metropolitan Police Range has apprehended 14 people on the charge of gambling.
They were arrested from a hotel run by local Raj Kumar Tamang on Friday evening along with Rs. 182,875 in cash. Those arrested include Man Bahadur Majhi,41, of Dhankuta currently living in Thali, Kathmandu, Baburam Tamang,32, of Nuwakot, Suresh Lama,35, of Kavre among others, police inspector Laxmi Khanal said.
They have been handed over to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Boudha for necessary action.
