Security check at Gaddachauki border point

Bhimdattanagar, Oct 14 : In view of the growing influx of the Nepali people to celebrate the big 
festivals as Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, the police here have begun security check employing sniffer
 dogs.

The area police office of Gaddachauki said it has beefed up checking in order to curb the criminal activities including the prevention of the supply of contraband.
“The security alertness is maintained with the coordination of the Indian SSB along with Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force,” said assistant inspector of police, Ganeshraj Joshi.
According to the police, some 5,000 to 7,000 Nepalis return home from India through the Gaddachauki border.
The local administration also took stock of the border citing the misbehavior and loot at the border area.
