Won’t let off Khursid’s murderer: Home Minister

Kathmandu, Sept 26 : Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has expressed commitment that the government would arrest and bring to book the murderer of Khursid Alam from Sunsari. Alam was killed six days back.

Minister Thapa said this during a meeting with the family members of the victim and people’s representatives from the district. He informed them that a probe committee was formed immediately after the incident and the murderer would be ascertained very soon.
He also extended condolences to the bereaved family members. They were assured of relief within some days. “I’ve taken this incident very seriously. Whosoever the culprit is he won’t be spared,” Home Minister reiterated. He further made it clear that government has given a special priority to security of Muslim community in the country.
The brother and uncle of the killed one wondered why Khursid’s murderer was not held despite the passage of a week since the crime.
