Biratnagar, July 31 : Nepali Congress central member and lawmaker Dr Minendra Rijal on Tuesday said the government should be pro-people. He also suggested the incumbent government that it brought plans related to development and poverty reduction. He was speaking at a protest rally organised by the NC district working committee, Morang.
On the occasion, NC central members Amrit Aryal, Dila Sangraula and Hasan Ansari drew the attention of the government to rising inflation. The rally participated by NC leaders and cadres that started from Birendra Sabha Griha went through various parts of the city before converging into a corner meet at Mahendra Chowk.
