Kathmandu, July 12 : Nepali Congress Vice-President Bimalendra Nidhi has emphasized on development of physical infrastructure in all seven provinces, arguing that promulgation of constitution alone would not bring it into effect effectively.
During a meeting with Forum of Federations, Asia-Australia Director Philip Gonzalez, NC Vice President Nidhi opined that the provincial government could hold interactions with the locals and identify what could help achieve prosperity for their respective provinces.
On the occasion, Director Gonzalez shared that the Federation had been working in the countries like Nepal with federal structure and pointed out the need for empowering people’s representatives and development of infrastructures.
The Federation working in the sector of good-governance has 10 countries associated with it, including Canada, Australia, Germany, and Switzerland among others.
