Khajura, July 7 : Engineer at the Daduwa rural municipality Tejraj Khadka has been arrested on the charge of taking a bribe of one hundred thousand rupees.
A team of the Commission of Investigation of Abuse of Authority Office in Kohalpur arrested engineer Khadka with Rs. 100,000 bribe money last night. He was apprehended red handed from the Dangali KC momo centre in BP Chowk of Nepalgunj yesterday night.
Khadka had reportedly sought bribe to prepare a work completion report for a road construction work carried out in Hiriminiya of ward no.6 of the municipality, according to the office acting Chief Krishna Prasad Poudel. Further investigation is underway.
