Waling, Syangja : As many as 520 households of Waling municipality were provided with iron-made improved portable stoves free of cost.
The improved stoves were distributed under the management of Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) and Nepal National Dalit Social Welfare Association, Syangja.
Dalit Uplift Coordination Committee, Syangja, Chairperson Leel Bahadur Ranpal shared that the stoves were distributed to the target groups including Dalit, indigenous nationalities and endangered ethnic people.
On the occasion, Waling municipality deputy mayor Kalpana Tiwari said the improved stoves would help reduce environment pollution.
