NC district presidents urge leadership to keep unity intact

Hetauda: The district presidents of the Nepali Congress have called on the party leadership to be united from the heart and with a deed.
At a press meet organized here Thursday evening, 74 out of 77 district presidents speaking during the national gathering underscored the need to make the party unity intact, said party Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma.
According to him, the gathering suggested the party to set up party committee in the province and local level and pass a statute through the decision from the mahasamiti and central committee.
A taskforce will be formed to prepare a draft of the party statute. At the gathering, some district presidents suggested the party to reconsider religious secularism.
