Kathmandu, June 6 : Chief of the Army Staff Rajendra Chettri left here today on a five-day visit of India, at the invitation of Chief of Indian Army Bipin Rawat.
During the India visit, CoAS Chettri will be the chief observation officer for the drill of the handing over of the commissioner post of officer-level basic training at the Indian Army Academy in Dehradhun, according to the NA Public Relations and Information Directorate.
He is also scheduled to meet with the Indian defense minister, the national security advisor, head of the Indian navy and marine force, and other high-ranking officials. CoAS Chettri will return home on June 11.
