Bajura, June 3 : Nepali Congress central member Ramesh Lekhak has stressed that the people’s inalienable rights and democratic republic should be protected by the government.
Speaking at a press meet organised by the Nepal Press Union, Bajura Chapter here today, he urged the government to move ahead ensuring people’s fundamental rights.
The constitution was promulgated with the joint efforts of all political parties, he said, adding that the country recorded a historic success under the NC leadership. He went on to say that the party would monitor whether achievements of the past one decade would be implemented properly in the days ahead. Leader Lekhak took the time to announce that the party would prove its presence as a strong opposition in the communist government.
