Kathmandu, June 3 : Nepali Congress (NC) vice president Bimalendra Nidhi has said that hundred days of the incumbent government failed to record any noticeable achievement.
Inaugurating the second central general convention of the Forest Environment Workers’ Union here today, leader Nidhi accused the government of exercising monopoly against federalism and the principle of inclusion. The first 100 days of the government were spent in uniting the two left parties.
The government promises of linking Kathmandu to Raxual of India and Korala of China through a railway were just for pleasing the neighbours, he said, adding that the implementation of the postal highway was hold back by India.
He however pledged the party’s positive support to the government in terms of promoting political stability, national unity and bringing prosperity. Leader Nidhi advised the communist government with two-third majority to remain concentrated on the development of the nation.
