Beni (Myagdi), June 3 : A woman undergoing treatment at the Shahid Gangalal Heart Centre in Kathmandu has appealed for economic support to save her life.
65 – year – old Purna Kumari Chhetri Khatri from Dhairing of Jaljala rural municipality – 7 in northern part of Parbat district has not been able to manage Rs 600,000 for treatment.
Purna Kumari’s son Rajan Khatri has appealed for the support. “Even if we sell all the properties in our house we will not be able to manage Rs 600,000,” Rajan said. “Doctor says my mother needs to undergo heart surgery which will cost Rs 600,000, we don’t have money and my mother is still at the hospital,” he added.
Jaljala rural municipality’s Chairman Yam Bahadur Malla has also appealed to all to lend financial support for Khatri’s treatment.
