Dahal calls for making no further delay in unification

Kathmandu, May 4 : CPN (Maoist Center) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has insisted that no further delay should be made in uniting the party and CPN (UML).

Inaugurating the national seminar on “Today’s Marxism, democracy, prosperity and socialism” organised by the Karl Marx Bicentennial Celebrations Committee here today, leader Dahal said the unification would take place within the next few days.

Stating that a delay in uniting two political would lead the nation towards anarchy, he said he wanted to give a new message to the world through the unification between two political parties. As he claimed on the occasion, the nation would become further stronger and would see new transformation once two political parties formally united.

Also speaking at the programme, CPN (UML) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal stated that he saw no alternative to unite the Communist parties to create a base for socialism by ending the consumerism and bourgeois culture.

UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and UML vice chair Bamdev Gautam also put their views on the occasion. The seminar will run for two days.
