First agenda of govt. development and prosperity: PM

Surunga, Jhapa, May 2 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the present government will build a prosperous Nepal through overall development of the country.
Inaugurating the ‘model market’ at main bazaar of Damak, Jhapa today, he said the first agenda of the government is development and prosperity, and urged for support from all sides to that end. “This government will work to develop all the sectors including agriculture, industry, trade and tourism, to make the country prosperous,” he said.
The model market was completed at a cost of Rs. 13.5 million in ward no. 6 of Damak municipality. It includes a park, water fountain, garden, resting chairs and attractive lighting.
In his speech, the Prime Minister also said that it was a surprise that Province No. 1 was yet to name itself. Stating that names were not scarce in the province that is home to Saptakoshi and Sagarmatha, the Prime Minister said naming of the province and the capital should not be delayed further.
