Talks betn Kim and Moon lead world towards peace: leader Nepal

Rukum, April 30 (RSS): CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the recent meeting between the leaders of North Korea and South Korea has created a new hope in global politics.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korea’s President Moon Jae met on April 27 at the demilitarized zone that separates the two Koreas.
The meeting between both leaders has created a new optimism in the global politics leading the world towards peace, Nepal said.
Speaking at a press meet jointly organized by Press Chautari and Press Centre district chapter today, leader Nepal said that the meeting has come up with a new road map for peace and harmony between the two countries and among the rest of the world as well.
He added that the ‘Third World War’ was likely if they had not sat for talks but it is ends that possibility for now. Leader Nepal also remembered suggesting both leaders for talks during his visit to these countries recently.
On another note, he said that party unification between UML and CPN (Maoist Centre) was in final stage and it was for permanent peace and prosperity of the nation.
