Pokhara . Eight gamblers were arrested under the Sweep Operation initiated by the District Police Office, Kaski.
They were arrested by the Florida Guest House operated by Bhogendra Tamang in ward no. 17 of Pokhara Lekhnath metropolis, according to the District Police Office, Kaski. Those arrested are Tamang, and Naresh Gurung, Raj Kumar Gurung, Raj Kumar Shrestha, Dipak Gurung and Dipak Bhattachan.
Under the operation, police have also arrested 46 people and confiscated timber and five motorcycles. Kaski police is also focused on checking crime, trade of illegal drugs as well as hooliganism, black marketing, said police spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Khatri.
