Kathmandu : A meeting of the CPN (UML)- CPN (Maoist Centre) party merger coordination committee has begun at Prime Minister residence, Baluwatar, this morning.
The meeting is expected to settle remaining contentious issues and finalize the date for party merger.
Earlier, the coordination committee meeting held Tuesday had internalized the organizational and ideological report on party merger. The report had recommended April 22 as the date for party merger.
The two parties are yet to settle the issues of election symbol and posts distribution.
