NC serves people as honest opposition: Minister Yadav

Kathmandu : Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation and Nepali Congress central member Mahendra Yadav said NC would serve people as an honest opposition. As rumoured outside, there was not any debate and disagreement within the party, he made it clear.
During an interface at Reporters’ Club in the capital city Thursday, he further said there was not any alternative to party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Unity between UML, Maoist Centre 
Similarly, (Maoist Centre) leader Dinanath Sharma has said the process to unify the CPN UML and the Maoist Centre would begin soon.
The leaders from both parties would be given due positions in the unified party. Homework for the unification is on, he added.
According to him, time has come for country’s prosperity with the parties working in unison.
Moreover, Co-Chairman of the Federal Socialist Forum, Rajendra Shrestha, said his party would extend support to the leftist alliance based on its policies. However, his party would join the coming government if the government became positive to amend the constitution.
He further argued that his party would claim that Chief Minister of Province No 2, as it emerged largest in that province.
