Surunga : Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that he would contest the elections of the House of Representatives under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) electoral system.
Addressing the cadres’ meet here today, Sitaula said that he would contest the polls from Jhapa Constituency No. 3 and would not opt for the proportional seat.
“My candidacy will be for making the party dynamic, not for becoming the parliamentarian,” he said.
On the occasion, Sitaula said that he was contesting polls under the FPTP considering the people’s sentiments and aspirations.
