PM will hand over power to Deuwa According to the agreement – Rayamajhi

Kathmandu : Deputy Leader of CPN (Maoist Centre)’s parliamentary party, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has urged one and all not to harbour any doubt on Prime Minister handing over power on proper time.
At a face-to-face program organized by Reporters’ Club here on Saturday, he said the power would be handed over to the ruling partner after the local level elections as agreed while noting the Prime Minister should not put in papers in a way that affects second phase civic polls coming near.
The second phase election should be held on the stated date of June 14, he clarified that his party did not receive votes in the first phase elections as expected.
Minister of State for Home Affairs Indra Baniya clarified that the government was ready to add number of local levels to onboard Madhesi Front to second phase elections.
The government has put forward a preparation to withdraw case against Tikapur carnage as per the demand of Madhesi Front to take the Terai-Madhes movement as a political event, Baniya added.
CPN-UML leader Raghubir Mahaseth said his party was not in favor of increasing the number of local levels before the second phase elections.
Rastriya Janata Party Nepal leader Mahendra Ray Yadav said that they would participate in the elections but the government should increase the numbers of local levels.
He stressed the need to increase the number of local levels when the CPN-UML is also positive to make population a base to that end.
