Govt. committed for development of government hospitals: DPM Yadav

Bhaktapur, Dec 17 : Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has said that the government was committed for the development of service, facilities and technology in government hospitals across the nation.

Speaking at the two-day National Annual Review progamme organised by the Ministry at Bode, Bhaktapur, on Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Yadav said that the patients would not be deprived of health service only if technology at the hospitals are developed and it started providing quality service.
He urged the bodies concerned to resolve the problems related to hospitals and health posts across the nation soon by carrying out monitoring the service and facilities providing by the health institutions.
Similarly, Secretary at the Health Ministry Kedar Bahadur Adhikari pointed out the need of providing health service and facilities where no one should be deprived of it.
Representatives from District Public Health Offices, Regional Health Offices and Province Health Offices across the nation and representatives of donor countries have been participating in the programme.
