Gyawali sees fault of local police in booking Nirmala’s murderer

Surkhet, Dec. 4 : Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has said that identifying the murderers of Nirmala Panta of Kanchanpur district became a tough job due to carelessness of the local police.

Minister Gyawali said that the government was criticized as the police weakened the investigation instead of making it effective. The murderers managed to escape the scene due to negligence in investigation instead of collecting evidences immediately after the incident, according to Minister Gyawali.
Minister Gyawali arrived in Surkhet district to attend programmes to be organized on 16-day campaign on violence against women.
On the occasion, Gyawali claimed that the government would bring the perpetrators to book at any cost.
Likewise, Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Thammaya Thapa said that coordination among the three layers of government would be established to end all sorts of violence.
