Bhim Bahadur Tamang’s statue unveiled

Kathmandu : A statue of late Nepali Congress leader and former Minister Bhim Bahadur Tamang has been unveiled amid a function in the capital on Saturday.
The Bhim Bahadur Tamang Memorial Foundation and Training Development Centre had erected the statue of the late leader Tamang at Swoyambhu in the capital.
National Assembly chair Ganesh Timilsina unveiled the statue in commemoration of the sixth death anniversary of Tamang on Saturday.
While unveiling the statue, chair Timilsina said the late leader Tamang had played important roles in establishing democracy and was a political figure with high integrity and good image.
Meanwhile, Chhorten Stupa built in memory of leader Tamang was also inaugurated on the occasion.
