Ranjha, Nov 7 : Province 5 chief minister Shankar Pokhrel has said Nepalgunj has a bright future, no matter it
is not a capital of the province.
In his address to a discussion programme on issues of trade sector organised here today by the Nepalgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), the chief minister predicted a bright future of the town. The province government is working to address problems of business people in Nepalgunj.
“The province government is working with a vision of enacting an integrated master plan covering three municipalities of Rupandehi, Banke and Dang, the districts in Province 5.”
He took time to inform that province and federal governments have already allocated budget to construct infrastructures for a province-level industrial corridor at Naubasta of Banke.
CM Pokhrel called for support and cooperation from all quarters toward that end. Works had begun to upgrade Nepalgunj Airport into a regional airport.
