Butwal, Sept. 24 : Chief Minister of Province No. 5 Shankar Pokharel has said that carrying the same old issues could not be democratic as the issue of federalism was finalized through the procedure and process.
At a programme of business community in Butwal on Monday, Chief Minister Pokharel said that drawing the conclusion within seven months after of the foundation of federal structure was a wrong practice.
On the occasion, Pokharel said that the current government was working to ensure double-digit economic growth rate in the current fiscal.
Saying that the protest campaigns have been staged in an organized manner against the government decision taken for commercial interest, Pokharel added that the government has laid clear emphasis on creating environment for business. Likewise, he urged the business community to link trade with the entrepreneurship.
As the provincial government has prioritized the commercial development of agricultural production by linking it with the market, Province No. 5 should produce the agriculture productions to meet the needs of the entire nation, Pokharel said.
The Chief Minister also said that the government was serious to avert the chance of dual taxation in the province and talks with the stakeholders were ongoing to resolve the issues.
