UK State Minister Field arriving Sunday

Kathmandu, May 4 : Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom (UK) Mark Field is arriving in Nepal on Sunday for a two day visit. This will be Field’s first visit to Nepal.
Field is arriving in Nepal to further strengthen the more than 200-year long bilateral relationship. During his visit, the British Minister will meet senior leaders from the government and business communities, as well as those working to improve the lives of the most vulnerable.
Likewise, Field is to discuss to grow bilateral trade and boost inward investment, and the UK’s support to help Nepal’s transition to federalism, according to a press note by the Embassy of UK, Kathmandu.
Field is also expected to call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Foreign Minister Pradip Kumar Gyawali to strengthen the bilateral relationship even further.
