Doti : Local people have continued to protest against the decision of the Sayal rural municipality to move its office overriding a decision of an all party meeting in this regard.
Earlier the meeting had located Dewarmandau as centre of the municipality. “The location identified earlier by the meeting as the municipality’s centre was convenient for all. We want the municipality’s decision to be scrapped,” said local CPN (Maoist Centre)’s leader Tej Dumrel.
As part of the protest, vehicular movements on a rural road in the locality would be brought to a standstill from Friday, the agitators said while saying the protest would continue until their demand is met.
