Three former MPs join NC

Kathmandu : Former Members of Parliament Mohan Singh Rathour and Rabina Chaudhary formally joined the Nepali Congress on Tuesday. Elected as MPs representing the UML, Rathour and Chaudhary were handed membership of the NC by its Chair and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Likewise, UML Topachi VDC chair Padam Gautam also joined the NC along with a dozen UML cadres.
Also Tuesday, former MP Shambu Lal Shrestha, who was elected from CPN (MC) in Sarlahi and former Minister and MC central member Nandan Kumar Dutta joined the Nepali Congress.

Meanwhile, issuing a statement today, Nepali billionaire Binod Chaudhary has said that he joined the NC to realize the plan of economic prosperity of the country. He had joined the party on Monday.
